About Katrine Winkel Holm

Katrine Winkel Holm is a Danish theologian and author and one of Denmark’s most well known commentators on the subjects free speech, Islam and Christianity.

She writes a weekly column in Jyllands-Posten, (the Danish daily that published the Mohammed cartoons) and is a board member in the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.

She is President in The Danish Free Press Society and co-editor of the theologian magazine Tidehverv. 

In the wake of the Mohammed cartoon crisis in 2006 she and a collegue founded a network of Islam-critical priests and theological experts.  

The purpose was to state that Christians and Muslims do not worship the same God. 

She has written several books, among others a book on feminism, women and family

Katrine Winkel Holm (born Krarup) is married and mother of three children.
